Miami Dade Community Services, Inc. (MDCS) has been in operations since 2001. Currently we have serve the areas of Miami-Dade and Broward County.
Miami-Dade Community Services, Inc. began operating as an outpatient substance abuse facility since 2003, providing services to offenders suffering from addictions and other behavioral problems. We also conduct drug screening to verify compliance with Court requirements.
Miami Dade Community Services, Inc., a not for profit entity, and a full outpatient center, licensed by the Department of Children and Families to provide adult substance abuse outpatient services.
Miami-Dade County Drug Court, TASC, Department of Corrections, Department of Children and Families, Metro Traffic School, the Advocate Program and the Criminal Justice System, as well as private medical institutions and individual physicians.
We work in partnership with court assistance programs, and other entities to assure continuity of offenders’ treatment. They also receive the benefit of our reports to the Court regarding their program development. Our court liaison staff has numerous years of experience with the criminal justice system. Our team members are licensed, bilingual professionals, and our various treatments are individualized to meet the needs of the clients.
The achievements of Miami-Dade Community Services have been recognized by the Circuit Court of the State of Florida, Eleventh Judicial Circuit. We are aware of the societal and personal problems caused by drug use and addiction in our community.
By providing effective prevention and treatment for substance abuse and dependency, Miami-Dade Community Services is committed to make our region a healthier and safer place.
MDCS is certified by the Florida Administration for Health Care Administration (ACHA) and currently has a Florida Medicaid provider. MDCS will provide
services to court referred mental health
patients, including low income,
underemployed, unemployed
and public assisted clients.
In the last years we have integrated more services to our facility and are licensed for different levels of care by the Department of Children and Families, such
